Universal Cares Donates 17 Backpacks to Support Local Students

As another school year approaches, Universal Cares is proud to continue our commitment to serving Indiana families by donating 17 backpacks to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation.

This donation supports the Foundation’s annual Back-to-School initiative, helping ensure local students have the supplies they need to begin the school year prepared and confident. Through this ongoing partnership, Universal Cares and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation are working together to strengthen our communities by providing practical resources while building meaningful relationships with the families we serve.

We believe that something as simple as a backpack can help remove barriers, ease financial burdens, and remind students that their community is behind them every step of the way.

This is just one example of how collaboration creates a greater impact. By partnering with organizations that share our passion for serving others, we can reach more families and continue making a difference throughout Indiana.

We are incredibly grateful to our donors, volunteers, and community partners who make projects like this possible. Your generosity allows Universal Cares to continue responding to needs throughout the year—from back-to-school assistance and holiday outreach to home repairs, food distributions, and volunteer service projects.

Together, we are proving that when communities come together, lives are changed.
