Softball Slamfest Slammed it out of the park because of YOU!
The 2026 Universal Cares Softball Slamfest was much more than a softball tournament—it was a celebration of community, generosity, and the power of people coming together to make a difference.
Held at Morse Park in Noblesville, this year’s event welcomed players, volunteers, sponsors, families, and supporters from across Central Indiana for a day filled with friendly competition, laughter, great food, exciting raffles, and a shared commitment to helping others.
Five teams took the field, bringing enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and energy to every game. Whether competing for the championship or cheering from the sidelines, participants helped create an atmosphere that reflected the heart of Universal Cares: serving others through compassion and community.
A special thank you goes to GEMCO, our Official T-Shirt Sponsor. Their generous support provided event shirts for participants and helped create a unified experience for everyone involved. Partnerships like these make events such as the Softball Slamfest possible and allow us to extend our impact throughout Indiana.

We are also incredibly grateful for our volunteers, sponsors, raffle donors, team captains, and EMT personnel. Their dedication behind the scenes ensured that the event was safe, organized, and enjoyable for all. From setting up fields to selling raffle tickets and assisting participants throughout the day, their contributions were invaluable.
Most importantly, the funds raised during the Softball Slamfest will directly support Universal Cares’ mission of assisting individuals and families facing difficult circumstances throughout Indiana. Every registration, sponsorship, raffle ticket, and donation helps provide resources, support, and hope to those who need it most.
Events like the Softball Slamfest remind us that when a community comes together, incredible things happen. What started as a day at the ballpark became an opportunity to change lives.
