Community Partners Stepping Up for the Hackman Family

When disaster strikes, rebuilding a home is about much more than floors, drywall, and paint. It’s about helping a family feel safe, supported, and hopeful again.

After severe flooding devastated the Hackman family’s home in Rocky Ripple, Universal Cares stepped in to help restore their home and make it livable again. What has made this project especially meaningful is the incredible support we’ve received from community partners who believe in helping their neighbors.

A Special Thank You to GoMinis

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to GoMinis for helping Universal Cares support the Hackman family during this difficult time. Their generosity has helped make it possible for us to focus on the family’s immediate needs while continuing the work necessary to restore their home.

Community partnerships like this allow Universal Cares to say yes when a family needs help—and that is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank You, Primrose School at Anson-Zionsville

We are also incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with Primrose School at Anson-Zionsville

The generosity of the Primrose community has been truly special. Through donations from their students, parents, teachers, and staff, the Hackman family has received necessities to help them as they navigate the aftermath of the flooding.

It is a beautiful reminder that teaching children about compassion, generosity, and community service goes far beyond the classroom.

This Is What Community Looks Like

At Universal Cares, we believe in being local, hands-on, and involved. We work directly with individuals and families in our Indiana communities, bringing together volunteers, businesses, schools, and donors to make a tangible difference.

The Hackman project is a perfect example of what can happen when people come together.

From the businesses providing resources and services to the families and organizations donating much-needed items, every contribution matters. Every act of kindness helps move a family one step closer to normal.

GoMinis and Primrose School at Anson-Zionsville—thank you for standing with the Hackman family and with Universal Cares. Your generosity is helping turn a devastating situation into a story of hope, community, and rebuilding.
